Post 1026 located in
scenic Woodstock, NY was formed on April 3, 1932. It is a
not-for-profit community-service organization whose members include
veteran members from all of America’s Armed Forces.
Woodstock American Legion exists for veterans and their families. We
honor and support all veterans who have served our country as we
continue to foster and perpetuate Americanism while encouraging
individual obligations to community, state, and government service. In
these ways, the members of American Legion Post 1026 are active in the
Woodstock community through various programs.

"A reflection of the sacrifice"
Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well

friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of
liberty. -John F. Kennedy
